antivengerThe JLA Watchtower was, in M'gann's opinion, one of the best places in the universe to have a holiday party. It was spacious, had a really big table for laying out a billion kids of food, and you just couldn't argue with a view of Earth from space.
She'd arrived early toting choco cheesecake and spent the first bit of the party waiting for guests to trickle in from the teleporters, peering out every window at all the stars like a kid who'd never seen them before in her life. By the time she drifted back to the hub of the party it was buzzing with new arrivals, many of whom she recognized and greeted with a smile.
One of them, however, didn't quite look as smiley as he should have...
She dropped down on a chair next to Jaime's leaning over to catch his downcast gaze with her own.
"Hey you. Why the long face? Your drink isn't that bad is it?"
