Tony frowns until the muscles in the corners of his lips actually start to hurt with the downward tug. "Take a bottle of aspirin." Yes, the whole bottle. He knows that drugs don't work well on the Captain, that the trouble with being a super soldier is that the fast metabolism he now has leaves him at a disadvantage when it comes to pain killers.
That can't be fun.
He manages to get up, though, and to head back to his room. He pauses there, sinks into bed, and proceeds to lay down restlessly on top of the sheets and think of things he really has no right to.
Is he surprise to find Steve still in the kitchen an hour later when he gets up to fiddle with the coffee maker -- not to make coffee, just to have something to do with his hands?
No.
