Steve sighs, tearing his gaze off of Tony's shifting fingers to push the heel of his hand into the ache building above his left eye.

"I never thought about it before. But then I've never been a position where what I did yesterday was even vaguely socially acceptable before so..."

"I guess maybe I was curious?" - all the drawings, all the time spent, would suggest it - "It just never even crossed my mind until you were already in my lap that it was... that kind of curious."
